MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL TEAM

My hobby is to play football. So, I do adore a football team. I am interested on Chelsea FC. The club has many great players all over the world. From the goalkeepers to the strikers, all of them are among the world best player. When I play football, I like to play as a striker. So my idol in football is the Chelsea's striker, Fernando Torres. He has been playing for Chelsea for 3 season. For the 2012-2013 season, he became the Chelsea's topscorer for all competition with 22 goals. But since Torres played for Chelsea, had became less dangerous in front of opposition's goal to compare with when he played for Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, he was so dangerous due to his speed, agility and resposiveness.

 

Since Torres in Chelsea, I could see that he was not dangerous as before. He rarely scores for Chelsea, but if he scores, Chelsea fans will love it. Every game he played, I always hope that he will score many goals. I remember during the Champions League match against Barcelona, Chelsea played formation of 9-0-1. Torres is the only Chelsea's attacker. No midfielder helped him in front of the goal. Others were became the defenders. Barcelona took the lead 2-1 before Torres scored the equaliser for 2-2 draw and proceed to final with 3-2 won on aggregate. That is the best of moment of Torres's goal.

 

During the latest season, he helped Chelsea to win the prestigious cup of Europe whic is the Europa League cup. In the final Chelsea faced Benfica, a portuguese club. Chelsea won the final with 2-1 on full time. The scorers are Torres and Ivanovic, Chelsea's center back. Torres brilliantly deceived Benfica's goalkeeper before netting the ball inside the net. Ivanovic's goal was in the final minute. A cross from a corner kick and he headed the ball inside the net after the keeper could not reached the ball.

 

Lastly, the last game of the 2012-2013 season, it was Chelsea against Everton at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea also won the game with 2-1 on full time. Both goals were produce by Mata and Torres. Torres aimed the ball to a narrow space of the goal. I thought he would missed it, but actually he scored it. I hope for the next season, Torres will keep improving his skills, agility and his responsiveness so that he will terrify the opposition. Aways Be Happy.
